Tweet of the day: Mike Morse says all that needs to be said

With the signing of Adam LaRoche to a two-year deal the Washington Nationals -- after already having traded for Denard Span -- have made it pretty clear that slugger Mike Morse is going to be traded. We mentioned as much in the post about LaRoche signing.

Morse himself is no dummy, so his reaction on Twitter was no surprise.

It's commendable that Morse remains subdued instead of lashing out, as being someone squeezed out of the future plans of a potential World Series winning ballclub would feel pretty awful.
