Roger Clemens reacts to snub with a 'Muchie Peachie'

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

Not surprisingly, Roger Clemens was denied admission into the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first try, as the results revealed Wednesday showed "Rocket" getting just 37.6 percent of the vote. As is growing more customary these days, Clemens' reaction could be found on Twitter.

The parting shot ("those who did take the time to look at the facts") is vintage Rocket. I wouldn't have ever expected anything less.

Also: "Muchie Peachie?" What the hell is that? Any ideas?

UPDATE: Evidently it means "much appreciated." I'm not in on all the slang of the kids -- or, evidently, 50-year-old ex-MLB players.
