Joel Peralta tweaks neck while getting sandwiches

We already know the winner for the weirdest injury of the offseason was Francisco Liriano, who broke his arm while trying to scare his kids. But we're now into spring training, and there's an early leader in the category: Rays reliever Joel Peralta.

Topkin later noted that the injury isn't serious and Peralta shouldn't miss any time at all. Also, the sandwiches were good. So all's well that ends well.
