Trio of players wearing Jackie Robinson cleats

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

While every single player in baseball is honoring the memory of Jackie Robinson Sunday -- the 65th anniversary of when Robinson broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball -- Jason Heyward, Adam Jones and Curtis Granderson are going a step further. The three players are wearing honorary cleats for Robinson, donning the No. 42 and Robinson's name (via Larry Brown Sports). The above picture is of Heyward's cleats for the day, as he took a picture and tweeted it on his own.

Granderson is going to auction off his cleats with the proceeds going to the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

Well done, gentlemen.
