Former Red Sox manager Terry Francona has apparently changed his mind and will attend Friday's frestivities at Fenway Park to celebrate the stadium's 100th anniversary, according to his co-worker at ESPN, John Buccigross.
Buccigross tweeted this:
Francona had said he wouldn't "go back there and start hugging people and stuff without feeling a bit hypocritical."
Despite the bad blood, it's a nice gesture of Francona to put those hurt feelings behind him and attend the ceremony. Hopefully the Boston crowd shows him the type of love the Boston brass will not.
