X-rays negative on Rickie Weeks' hand

By C. Trent Rosecrans | Blogger
Good news for the Brewers, as X-rays were negative on the left hand of second baseman Rickie Weeks, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Weeks was hit on his hand in the bottom of the 13th inning of Friday's game by Chicago's Lendy Castillo. Weeks stayed in the game and scored the winning run on a Corey Hart single. Weeks is not in the team's lineup for Saturday's game. Edwin Maysonet is playing second for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

According to Haudricourt, Weeks is day to day.
