Manny Ramirez went 0 for 4 with three strikeouts in his first minor-league rehab game for Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Ramirez is scheduled to play 10 games in the minors before he's eligible to return from his 50-game suspension for a positive drug test last year. Ramirez, 39, played in just five games for the Rays last season before his suspension.

Saturday in Albuquerque, Ramirez served as the DH for the River Cats, batting third. In the third inning he lined out to second in his only at-bat that didn't end in a strikeout. He was replaced in the ninth inning by pinch-hitter Jeff Florentino, who walked and scored to give Sacramento a lead.
