Aubrey Huff

Giants first baseman/outfielder Aubrey Huff is headed for the disabled list with a knee sprain. An MRI on the knee that Huff tweaked during the celebration following Matt Cain's perfecto revealed the injury.

To replace Huff on the roster, the Giants have recalled 32-year-old journeyman outfielder Justin Christian, who was hitting .362/.434/.540 at Triple-A Fresno. As for Huff, he was hitting a meager .155/.296/.259 on the season.
