Chase Utley could return to the Phillies' lineup by Wednesday, CSNPhilly.com reports.

Sunday the team announced that Utley would play Tuesday at Triple-A Lehigh Valley. That's in line with the report by CSNPhilly.com's Jim Salisbury that Utley would play Tuesday for the Iron Pigs before joining the team for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Utley has spent the entire season on the disabled list with sore left knee.

Saturday was the first time he played second base in back-to-back games in his nine-game stint with Clearwater, playing eight innings. In those nine games, he hit .156/.263/.250 in 32 at-bats. A home run on Wednesday was the lone extra-base hit among his five hits. He was 1-for-3 on Saturday.
