Marlins right-hander Carlos Zambrano is on his way to the bullpen, and replacing him in the rotation will be Wade LeBlanc, CBSSports.com Insider Danny Knobler tweets.

This season, Zambrano in 115.0 innings has an ERA of 4.54, which, on a park-adjusted basis, is about 10% worse than the league average. Zambrano also spent time in the bullpen back in 2010, when he was with the Cubs.

As for LeBlanc, the 27-year-old lefty has a 1.15 ERA in 15.2 relief innings since being recalled from Triple-A New Orleans at the beginning of the month. LeBlanc worked regularly as a starter at the major- and minor-league levels while in the Padre organization from 2006-11. As a starting pitcher in the majors, he has a career ERA of 4.47 in 287.2 innings.
