Video: Alex Gordon robs Miguel Cabrera of 43rd homer

Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera is fighting to become the first man to win a league's triple crown since 1967. He entered Wednesday leading two legs of it (batting average and RBI) while trailing Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton by just one home run.

And in the bottom of the fifth inning on Wednesday night, it appeared Cabrera connected for No. 43. Until ...

The score was tied at the time, and the Tigers came into Wednesday tied for first in the AL Central. So this play was big all around.

Also of note: The TV graphic person posted that it was a Cabrera home run (check the top part of the screen immediately after the catch) for a quick second instead of a catch by Kansas City's Alex Gordon.
