Tweet of the day: Braves OF Jason Heyward cracks infield fly joke

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

While the wound from the infield-fly ruling in the National League wild-card game may still be fresh for some fans and/or Braves players, right fielder Jason Heyward appears to be over it.

During the Atlanta Falcons-St. Louis Cardinals NFL game on Sunday afternoon, Falcons running back Jason Snelling fumbled. The ball appeared headed out of bounds, but Cardinals corner Greg Toler flung the ball back and Arizona recovered. While the play was being sorted out by officials, Heyward had this to say:

Well played, Mr. Heyward.

Chest-bump to my boy Will Brinson from Eye on Football for filling me in on what happened in the football game.
