|Marco Scutaro, hero of the postseason, has given the thumbs up on a return to San Francisco. (US Presswire)|
Scutaro, 37, hit .306/.348/.405 with 32 doubles, seven homers, 74 RBI and 87 runs in 2012 with the Rockies (95 games) and Giants (61 games).
What he did in San Francisco, however, is what will be remembered. Scutaro hit .362/.385/.473 with the Giants in the regular season and then won NLCS MVP as the Giants went on to win the World Series. Let us not forget that Scutaro had the game-winning RBI in the 10th inning of deciding Game 4 of the World Series.
Also of note: The "Marco ... Scutaro" chant (think "Marco Polo") in AT&T Park lives on.
