Just because: Mickey Mantle teaches you to drag bunt

By Dayn Perry | Baseball Writer

Mickey Mantle is about to teach you how to lay down a drag bunt, or, as it's known dismissively in some quarters, "take the service entrance to first base."

This wisdom-sharing takes place during the the "Mick in repose" stage of things, which means the beer gut will be prominent and the voice will sound almost exactly as though it dawdled from the Oscar-nominated pipes of Tommy Lee Jones ...

The presence of Mantle's No. 7 among those being edified suggests that this took place at a fantasy camp (is that Hank Bauer on the far left?), which is fine. But know these things, lads: 3.1 seconds, in case you tadpoles think you're fast or something, and left foot first.

Now go forth and bunt your way on in all that you do. Also give consideration to hitting 536 home runs, winning three MVPs and making the Hall of Fame.
