Just Because: Swindell, Harnisch and Drabek were 'shooting stars'

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

Over on SB Nation, Jon Bois put together an excellent compilation of old sports posters. It's worth clicking through to see all the old posters -- I especially enjoyed seeing the Bo Jackson one that used to reside on the wall of my brother, for example.

Below is the one I found most humorous among the baseball posters:

The '80s and '90s really were home of the awesomely bad sports posters, and this one ranks up there among the best.

The trio of Greg Swindell, Pete Harnisch and Doug Drabek were together with the Astros in the 1993 and 1994 seasons. They combined for a 65-59 record in those two seasons. Also, remember, they were shooting stars. So there's that.
