Spring training injury update: Feb. 24

The big injury story from Sunday is, obviously, Curtis Granderson's fractured right forearm. The injury will keep him on the shelf for the next 10 weeks, meaning his return is expected sometime in early May. Granderson told Chad Jennings of the Journal News he thought he was in the clear because there was "no numbness ... no tingling," but the X-rays said otherwise.

GM Brian Cashman told reporters Granderson's replacement will come from within the organization, though he has more than a month to explore external solutions before opening day. Either way, he's not going to be able to fully replace one of the game's top power hitters. Here is a recap of Sunday's notable non-Granderson spring training injury news:
