Heyman: Wright flourishing for Team USA

Mets and Team USA third baseman David Wright was scratched from the lineup because of a sore back before Thursday night's game against the Dominican Republic. He will meet with Mets team doctors Friday. The issue appears to be in the back of Wright's left rib cage.

In Wright's absence, Team USA went with Willie Bloomquist at third base.

Wright was crushing the ball for USA. He's even earned the nickname "Captain America."
