OK. Presumably, the excitable Mr. Harper said something both loud and naughty, no? Well, here's Hirschbeck's play-by-play, courtesy of this pair of tweets from Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post ...

Sure, sure, better decorum on Harper's part is perhaps in order, but a thicker skin on Hirschbeck's part is most assuredly in order. Maybe it's a matter of perception, but umpiring sensibilities seem a bit too delicate these days.

Mr. Hirschbeck, no one -- save for your co-religionists in blue -- particularly cares what you like or don't like.
