A's outfielder Josh Reddick is out of the Oakland lineup with a wrist injury, and it's not certain when he'll be able to return. Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle tweets that an MRI on Reddick's wrist showed inflammation and that he's hoping to avoid surgery. While the A's haven't yet made a roster move, it's possible Reddick will be placed on the disabled list.

This season, the 26-year-old Reddick is struggling: a slash line of .152/.266/.250 with only one home run in 109 plate appearances. Presumably, Reddick's injured wrist has something to do with his poor production. In November 2011, Reddick underwent surgery on his left wrist, but this injury is to his right wrist.

Worth noting is that the A's already have two other outfielders -- Coco Crisp and Chris Young -- on the DL. In Tuesday night's loss to the Indians, Michael Taylor manned right field for Oakland.
