Like I said: Exciting -- almost Little League-ish in its haphazard brilliance. Of course, Amarista, in making the catch, very much took one of those banana-shaped routes that's indicative of a bad read. I'll certainly cut him some slack because said read took place in the Trop, which is nothing if not hostile toward the interests of fly-catchers.
Maybe it's my hang-up, but I don't care for seeing plays that start with an improper read being labeled "great." Exciting, entertaining -- yes. But not great.
