Nationals starting pitcher Ross Detwiler missed his last turn in the rotation due to a minor oblique issue, but he's set to rejoin it Tuesday as planned.

Detwiler threw a bullpen session on Saturday in which the plan was to evaluate if he'd be ready to start Tuesday as scheduled. He apparently was fine because Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports that Detwiler said his session went well and he's good to go for Tuesday against the Orioles.

Detwiler, 27, is 2-4 with a 2.76 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 23 strikeouts in 45 2/3 innings this season. Left-hander Zach Duke got the start in Detwiler's place on Monday and allowed seven hits and four earned runs in just 3 1/3 innings in an eventual 8-0 loss to the Giants.
