The Marlins have their one and only star back on the roster, as they've activated outfielder Giancarlo Stanton from the disabled list. Stanton has missed the last 36 games because of a right hamstring strain.

In order to make room for the slugger, the Marlins have placed first baseman Casey Kotchman on the 15-day DL with an oblique strain.

Manager Mike Redmond had previously indicated that Marcell Ozuna would likely slide over to center field so as to accommodate Stanton upon his return (source: Joe Capozzi via Twitter). Miami opens a three-game home set with the Brewers on Monday night.

On the season, the 23-year-old Stanton is batting .227/.341/.387 with three home runs in 75 at-bats. For his career, he owns an excellent OPS+ of 139 and has tallied 96 homers in 393 games.
