VIDEO: Dodgers affiliate involved in minor league benches-clearing brawl

The Dodgers were involved in one of baseball's most memorable benches-clearing brawls a few days ago, a brawl that results in a plethora of suspensions and fines.

Apparently the brawling is not limited to the big league club. The team's Triple-A affiliate, the Albuquerque Isotopes, got into it with the Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals' Triple-A squad) following a beaning on Saturday. Here's the video:

It's not the greatest camera angle nor are there any other replays, but it does appear there were some punches thrown.

The bad blood all started earlier in the game, when an Isotopes batter called time at the plate and it was not granted. For whatever reason, the Redbirds' pitcher didn't appreciate that and hit him with a pitch in his next time up. It escalated from there.

Kind of silly, really. Usually pitchers are annoyed when time is granted, not when it isn't granted.
