If you're going to devote a Twitter account to an individual player's home runs, then you'd best choose carefully and show a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Otherwise, media sociale will have its remorseless way with you.

So consider what follows a wise shift of focus:

Justin Upton, it should be noted, has precisely one homer since May 18. Over that same span, Chris Davis, it should be noted, has ... 20.

So, yes, a sage and timely change indeed.
