VIDEO: Brayan Pena lets foul ball roll fair, retires Nick Swisher

Much of the time we see a dribbler down the third-base line, the catcher or third baseman waits for it to roll from fair to foul -- as the batter is already far down the first-base line in hopes of an infield hit.

Monday night in Cleveland, however, Indians first baseman Nick Swisher hit a dribbler down the line in foul territory, and he just assumed that's where it would remain. Tigers catcher Brayan Pena noticed the standing-still Swisher and allowed the ball on the roll to run its course.

And it came back fair. Check it out:

Swisher wasn't even looking, and that's in a 2-2 game against the team the Indians are pursuing in the AL Central. That shouldn't happen, and the veteran Swisher certainly will be kicking himself over it during the postgame interviews -- especially since the Indians ended up losing in extra innings, 4-2.
