Justin Verlander looked a bit like his vintage self on Sunday, as he no-hit the Rangers for 6 2/3 innings. Following the seventh inning, however, Verlander was removed after his right quad muscle tightened up. The good news for the Tigers is that it doesn't appear to be any kind of substantial injury. Here's this from MLive.com's Chris Iott:

Almost certainly nothing to worry about, particularly with the All-Star break in the immediate offing.

As for Verlander's recent performances, Sunday's gem (7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 K, 3 BB) lowered his 2013 ERA to 3.50, and he has now logged a quality start in three of his last four outings.
