On June 30, it was announced that Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos would miss two to three weeks with a nondisplaced fracture in his right wrist. Well, the three weeks are almost up, and he's still not back. Now, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports that X-rays have revealed the bone isn't completely healed.

Bourjos will have X-rays again Friday, but this seems like a bit of a setback.

Due to the wrist injury and a strained hamstring earlier this season, Bourjos has only managed to play 40 games. When he has been in the lineup, he has been productive.

Bourjos, 26, is hitting .333/.392/.457 with three doubles, two triples, three homers, four stolen bases and 21 runs scored. He's also an excellent defensive center fielder. With Bourjos on the shelf, the Angels will continue to use Mike Trout in center and J.B. Shuck in left.
