VIDEO: Chris Stewart nearly flips over backstop, starts double play

Outside of the occasional strike-'em-out, throw-'em-out double play, it's not often catchers are involved in turning two. It's definitely not often you see them turn two after nearly flipping over the backstop to field a pop-up, yet that's exactly what Yankees catcher Chris Stewart did on Saturday. Check it out:

Daniel Nava didn't get the greatest of jumps off first base and that helped matters, but still. Notice how the ball bobbled around Stewart's glove a bit when he went to make the transfer before the throw. The degree of difficulty was quite high.

You're not going to see many better defensive plays by a catcher, that's for sure. Tip o' the cap to Stewart.
