GIF: Hanley Ramirez fakes out Shin-Soo Choo at second base

Infielders try the ol' decoy play a handful of times each game, but very rarely does it actually make a difference. Perhaps a base-runner will stop at second when he could have gone to third, something like that. It almost never works as well as this:

That is Shin-Soo Choo taking off from first on Joey Votto's little flare single to center field. Hilariously, Choo got faked out by Hanley Ramirez at second and started retreating towards first. He was completely fooled.

It's not often you see a runner head back to first base on a single hit in front of them. Baseball is weird sometimes.
