On Wednesday night, events conspired to force Cardinals catcher Rob Johnson to pitch to Dodgers reliever Paco Rodriguez (!). That in itself is notable enough, but watch on as Johnson crafts a four-pitch strikeout in a total of about, oh, 38 seconds or so ...

Working quickly, is what they call that.

Worth noting is that in 2013 the average major-league pitcher takes 22.6 seconds between offerings. Rob Johnson is galled by such indolence.
