Add another to the list of injured Brewers. Center fielder Carlos Gomez exited Thursday's game in the fourth inning after making a great highlight reel catch on the warning track. Here's the play:

Gomez left the game with a right knee sprain, the Brewers announced. He will have an MRI on Friday.

Earlier this year, the 27-year-old Gomez missed a few games with a shoulder injury after crashing into the outfield wall. He's also had hamstring and concussion issues in recent seasons.

Gomez was hitting .289/.340/.520 (132 OPS+) with 18 home runs and 30 stolen bases in 113 games prior to Thursday. That performance and his excellent defense are the reason he ranks third in all of baseball with 6.4 WAR. Only Mike Trout (6.7) and Miguel Cabrera (6.5) have been more valuable.

The Brewers are currently without Mat Gamel (knee), Yovani Gallardo (hamstring), Rickie Weeks (hamstring) and Corey Hart (knee). Ryan Braun is currently serving a 65-game suspension for his ties to the South Florida performance-enhancing drug hub Biogenesis.
