Tuesday figures to be one of the best and most memorable days of Max Stassi's life. The 22-year-old was just called up to the big leagues by the Astros, and in his first ever game, he singled for his first career hit. That first game and first hit are two things he'll remember forever.

Something else Stassi will remember forever: getting tagged out near second base after retreating to the dugout thinking he'd been called out on a force play following that first career hit. Here's the video:

That's pretty embarrassing, but it is an honest rookie mistake. He thought the throw had been caught at second and he was out on the force play. The lesson: wait for the umpire to call you out, don't assume.

Congrats to Stassi on the call-up and his first career hit. He's got a pretty great story to tell the kids and grandkids down the line.
