I've made an effort to pare down my fantasy sports in recent years just for the sake of my sanity. I'm down to one fantasy baseball league and I didn't play fantasy football last year for the first time in an eternity. It's actually quite liberating.
Baseball players are different, though. They can't play fantasy baseball because of the whole "gambling on baseball is frowned upon" thing, so they're stuck getting their fix with other sports. As Diamondbacks right-hander Brandon McCarthy showed the world on Friday, baseball players take their fantasy football draft very seriously:
