Carl Crawford still wants a piece of Boston

Needless to say, Carl Crawford's stint with the Red Sox was a disaster for both he and the team. He's having a good season with the Dodgers, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten his miserable time in Boston.

Remember back in the spring when Crawford said the Boston media loves it when players are miserable?

Via Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com came this beauty: "Burying people in the media, they think that makes a person play better. That media was the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life."

Well, now the Red Sox are set to face the Dodgers for a three-game series, and Crawford had this to say to the Los Angeles Times: "I want to win all three games. Bad."

He also said that playing in Boston "was just a bad experience."

So there's nothing egregious in there, but Crawford still seems pretty content to talk about how much he didn't like his time in Boston.

Regardless, the blockbuster trade that sent Crawford to LA has been outstanding for both teams, as the series beginning Friday night in Dodger Stadium pits the first-place team in the AL East against the first-place team in the NL West.
