The Oakland Athletics have reinstated outfielder Josh Reddick from the 15-day disabled list, the club announced Tuesday. Reddick has been out since Aug. 25 due to a right wrist injury -- one that has plagued him through much of the season, causing two disabled list stints.

Reddick, 26, is only hitting .213/.297/.362 with 15 doubles, 10 homers and 46 RBI in 97 games this year, but, again, the wrist has hampered him. Last season, his first with Oakland, he hit .242/.305/.463 with 32 homers and 85 RBI while winning a Gold Glove. He showed he still has the power back on Aug. 9-10 when he hit five homers combined in consecutive games.

Expect Reddick to get a shot at regular playing time in right field, which enables the A's to get Brandon Moss back to first base.
