UPDATE: So the Vancouver Sun passes along disappointing word that it was just a remote-control helicopter guided by the buccaneering souls at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Or is that just what the Alien-Industrial Complex wants us to believe? In any event, thanks to Scott Brown for bursting our weather balloon.
First, the undeniable facts: The Vancouver Canadians, Northwest League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, recently played a game, and a UFO -- no doubt brimming with higher-evolved aliens bent on murderous conquest -- showed up at that game. This much cannot be denied, and the following action-news, color-television footage proves it beyond all reproach.
Bear convinced witness:
Those who would say that's a mere human-piloted aircraft of indeterminate origins are assumed to be rankest abettors of government subterfuge and our forthcoming galactic enslavement.
But wait, there's more:
Rumour has it the alien spaceship beyond right field is from Everett. #BeatEverett— Vancouver Canadians (@vancanadians) September 4, 2013
And so it begins ...
