Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez and Braves outfielder Reed Johnson have each been suspended one game and fined following Wednesday's benches-clearing incident. Brian McCann and Freddie Freeman were fined but not suspended.

Gomez, 27, sparked the incident after admiring a home run a little too long. He apologized to everyone involved after the game. The video can be seen here.

Surprisingly, McCann was not suspended for his role in the brawl. He stood in the third base line and prevented Gomez from touching home plate following the homer. Hard to believe McCann got off relatively scot-free.

The Brewers open a season-ending four-game series against the Mets on Thursday night.
