For the first time since opening in 2001, PNC Park will host a playoff game. The Pirates clinched homefield advantage in the NL wild-card game with their 8-3 win over the Reds on Saturday afternoon.

Six home runs -- a record for a visiting team at Great American Ball Park -- helped the Pirates overcome a shaky Charlie Morton start against Cincinnati. Marlon Byrd, Andrew McCutchen, Andrew Lambo, Pedro Alvarez and Neil Walker (two) all went deep on Saturday. Alvarez is now tied with Paul Goldschmidt for the most homers in the NL with 36.

Pittsburgh has not hosted a postseason game since 1992, the last time the Pirates had a winning record and qualified for the postseason. They won their 82nd game a few weeks ago, clinched a playoff spot earlier this week, and landed a home playoff game on Saturday. The 2013 season has been pretty great for the Buccos.

The Reds and Pirates will meet in the NL wild-card game on Tuesday. The teams have announced Francisco Liriano and Johnny Cueto will be the starting pitchers.
