Dodgers advance: R.I.P. Atlanta Braves | Dodgers stun Braves, quick hits

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the first team to advance to the League Championship Series round -- baseball's version of the Final Four -- and they did so on the strength of a huge Juan Uribe home run.

After Yasiel Puig opened the eighth inning with a double, Uribe was initially tasked with bunting Puig to third. Fortunately for the Dodgers, he's not very good at bunting and dug himself an 0-2 hole. So it was swing away. And swing away he did.

Witness:

Excellent shot by TBS of Braves closer Craig Kimbrel, who is the best reliever in baseball and didn't see action Monday night. After the inning, it took just three Kenley Jansen strikeouts before the Dodgers beat the Braves, 4-3, to win the series and advance to the next round.
