Eckersley says 'Happy Anniversary' to Gibson's World Series homer

The legendary pinch-hit walkoff homer by Dodgers star Kirk Gibson in Game 1 of the World Series happened exactly 25 years ago Tuesday (Oct. 15, 1988).

Notice the homer was off Dennis Eckersley -- eventual Hall of Famer and baseball's best closer at the time. Obviously he's had plenty of time to shake it off, too, because he just tweeted the following:
