LOS ANGELES -- Game 5 of the 2013 NLCS finds the Dodgers on the brink of seeing their season end and the Cardinals on the brink of a second pennant in the last three years. Let's see how managers Mike Matheny and Don Mattingly will play it for Wednesday's game ...

Road Cardinals

1. Matt Carpenter, 2B
2. Carlos Beltran, RF
3. Matt Holliday, LF
4. Matt Adams, 1B
5. Yadier Molina, C
6. Jon Jay, CF
7. David Freese, 3B
8. Pete Kozma, SS
9. Joe Kelly, SP

Home Dodgers

1. Carl Crawford, LF
2. Mark Ellis, 2B
3. Hanley Ramirez, SS
4. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
5. Andre Ethier, CF
6. Yasiel Puig, RF
7. Juan Uribe, 3B
8. A.J. Ellis, C
9. Zack Greinke, SP

As you can see, Ramirez is in his familiar third spot for the Dodgers, but you should consider him a game-time decision. He's of course still quite limited after a Kelly fastball in Game 1 fractured one of his ribs, and Ramirez was also forced to leave Game 4 after five innings.

On the Cardinals' side of things, Freese (calf) will give it a go in Game 5 even though he, like Ramirez, was forced out of Game 4.
