'Jeopardy' takes jab at Astros futility

By Matt Snyder | Baseball Writer

Though many prospect-type media like what the Astros are doing for the future, the state of the major-league club at present is that of a laughingstock. They have failed to win even 57 games in a season for three straight campaigns, with their 56-106 mark in 2011 being their best record in the past three seasons.

The run is historically futile, and even the esteemed game show Jeopardy has noticed.

Witness:

My answer to Mr. Stoots is -- if I can channel Col. Jessup -- I don't have the first damn clue.

Apparently the question is: "What is a blowout preventer?"

What a creative name.
