Miguel Cabrera seems really torn up about the Prince Fielder trade

MORE: Grade the trade | Deal makes sense for both clubs

The Tigers swung a blockbuster trade on Wednesday night, breaking up their devastating three-four lineup combination by sending Prince Fielder to the Rangers for Ian Kinsler. The other half of that three-four combo is reigning back-to-back AL MVP Miguel Cabrera.

Although Cabrera and Fielder only spent two seasons together in Detroit, they apparently grew very close. Based on his Twitter feed, Cabrera seems to be taking the team-imposed break-up pretty hard. Earlier on Thursday, the slugger went on a photo posting/retweeting spree:

That last one really hits home. Brutal.

Cabrera also released a statement on Twitter that, according to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, translates to "Remembering a good friend, wish you all the success in the world with your new team. To remember is to live ... What unforgettable moments, my brother."

Heartbreaking. I want to give Miggy a hug.
