PHOTO: Oakland Coliseum before Mount Davis

Most fans these days probably know the O.co Coliseum in Oakland as the bland, concrete-surrounded ballpark it is today. It's not exactly one of the game's most aesthetically pleasing buildings, that's for sure.

Many names and many years ago, the Coliseum actually had a view of the surrounding area and hills. That was before Mount Davis -- the large section of seats in center field, sarcastically nicknamed after late Raiders owner Al Davis -- was added in 1996, completely enclosing the stadium. Here's what the place looked like before Mount Davis:

Now that looks like a baseball stadium. It's a shame that view is a thing of the past.
