The Nationals have agreed to a two-year contract with outfielder Nate McLouth, tweets's Ken Rosenthal, pending a physical.'s Jon Heyman has confirmed the news. As for the terms, a source tells Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun that McLouth will make $10.75 million with an option for 2016.

McLouth, age 32, is coming off a 2013 campaign for the Orioles in which he batted .258/.329/.399 (96 OPS+) with 12 homers, 31 doubles and 30 steals in 37 attempts. For his career, McLouth has an OPS+ of 100 across parts of nine major-league seasons.

In addition to providing solid production against right-handed pitching and speed on the bases, McLouth is also capable of manning all three outfield positions. With Bryce Harper, Denard Span and Jayson Werth already on the Washington roster, McLouth seems slated for fourth-outfielder duty with his new team. That's an ideal role for a player of his skill set.
