The White Sox have agreed to terms with right-hander Felipe Paulino. Paulino himself tweeted out the news on Monday. The deal is for one year, $1.75 million with a team option for 2015.

Paulino, age 30, is battling his way back from Tommy John surgery performed in July of 2012 and a shoulder procedure performed in September of this year. This past season, he pitched 27 2/3 innings while rounding into form in the Royals' minor-league system.

For his major-league career, Paulino has pitched to a 4.93 ERA, 84 ERA+ and 2.24 K/BB across parts of five seasons. Of his 93 games pitched, 61 have been starts.
