The race for Bronson Arroyo is down to Twins, Reds and two other teams according to Jon Heyman of The Mets, Pirates, Angels and Giants all had interest in the free agent right-hander at different points of the offseason.

Arroyo, 36, came into the winter seeking at least a two-year contract. Bartolo Colon, who outpitched Arroyo in 2013 but carries more red flags, received a two-year deal worth $20 million from the Mets this week, so Arroyo's request is not unreasonable.

In 32 starts this season, Arroyo went 14-12 with a 3.79 ERA (101 ERA+) and a 3.65 K/BB ratio in 202 innings. He has made at least 32 starts and thrown at least 199 innings every year since 2005, which is the kind of durability teams dream about.
