This offseason, the Twins have already added Phil Hughes and Ricky Nolasco to the rotation, and now, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, they've agreed to terms with right-hander Mike Pelfrey on a two-year contract. Heyman adds that the deal will guarantee Pelfrey $11 million with the chance to make another $3.5 million in incentives.

Pelfrey underwent Tommy John surgery in May of 2012, and last season he logged a 5.19 ERA (78 ERA+) and 1.91 K/BB in 152 2/3 innings for the Twins. For his career, the 29-year-old owns a 4.48 ERA, 90 ERA+ and 1.64 K/BB ratio. The Twins' hope is that the numbers will improve as he gets further removed from surgery.
