On Saturday at noon ET, Notre Dame and Rutgers will square off in the fourth annual Pinstripe Bowl (here's the Eye On College Football preview of said bowl game). For our purposes, it's worth noting that the Pinstripe Bowl goes down at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx -- home of the Yankees, you'll recall -- and is in large part the brainchild of the Yankee-Industrial Complex, from whom all blessings flow.
Anyhow, it goes without saying that part of the prep work involves converting the Yankee Stadium playing surface from baseball diamond to football field. Courtesy of the Yankees' PR department, here's what the finished product looks like (click to enlarge/properly admire):
It figures to be a fine afternoon of football, so long as A-Rod doesn't ruin it.
