The Indians have agreed to sign outfielder Nyjer Morgan to a minor league contract, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports. The deal is still pending a physical.

Morgan, 33, spent the 2013 season with the Yokohama BayStars in Japan, hitting .294/.361/.434 with 11 home runs in 108 games. He last played in MLB with the Brewers in 2012, when he hit .239/.302/.308 (63 OPS+) with three homers in 122 games.

Cleveland already has a stacked outfield featuring Michael Bourn, David Murphy and Michael Brantley, but Morgan could serve as the fourth outfielder with Ryan Raburn seeing more time on the infield.
